Program Description:
The Boy's Group Home is licensed by the State of Utah to care for sixteen teenage boys from ages 11 to 18 who are in the care and custody of the State of Utah. The group home operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
While in the group home, efforts are made to ensure that the medical, education, social, and emotional needs are addressed. Youth either attend school at the Division or in the community.
Youth participate in various groups including drug and alcohol, life skills, arts and crafts, community service, and recreational groups. Youth participate in a variety of activities run by the on site recreational therapist as well.
The assigned state worker meets with the youth during his stay to update the youth on his treatment plan and on future plans in terms of possible placement and treatment issues.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Youth must be in the care and custody of the State of Utah to be eligible for the services.
- In addition, youth in the care and custody of the State of Utah must be between the ages of 11 and 18 to be eligible for the services.
Cost:
- Funded through a contract with the Division of Child and Family Services with the State of Utah.

Tips:
Only teenagers from ages 11 to 18 who are in the custody and care of the State of Utah are eligible for the services offered at the Boy's Group Home.
