What Does the In Home Services Program Do?
Strengthens the family's ability to provide care on its own so that the child does not need to leave the home.
Services depend on the strengths and needs of the family,.
In-Home services include :
- Counseling with parents and children
- Parenting education
- Budgeting and financial help
- Crisis intervention
- Connecting with other family and community resources
- Frequent visits with the family
Who is Eligible for In Home Services?
Youth, ages 11 to 18, who are at risk of being removed from their home, but have been determined by the Division of Child and Family Services that they can safely remain at home with intensive services.
Only those who are referred by Juvenile Court, DCFS, or a Family Therapist at Youth Services can receive in-home services.
What are the Cost to the Client?
Services are free to the family or child for these services.
